M&S has launched its popular Mobile Pay Go technology in M&S Talbot Green.
The innovative service offers speedy, checkout-free payment, allowing busy customers to purchase their shopping in under 40 seconds using their smartphone.
Today’s launch is part of a wider rollout, which sees 118 more M&S stores receive Mobile Pay Go, including M&S Talbot Green, following the success of an initial launch in April. The new service is designed to reduce the amount of physical touch points in store for customers, making sure they can shop as smoothly and safely as possible. With instant payment available, queuing at checkouts will also be a thing of the past.
To use Mobile Pay Go, customers simply download and open the M&S app, scan products as they shop, then leave without visiting the till, paying online there and then.
James Lillywhite, Store Manager at M&S Talbot Green said: “Mobile Pay Go is all about making it as easy as possible for customers to come in, purchase our products and be on their way. We’re thrilled to now offer this service, which will play an important role in making the customer journey as easy as possible in store, reducing touch points and the need to queue for tills. Our colleagues will be on hand to help customers make the most of this new service in the coming weeks.”
